The course will give you basic knowledge of Norwegian - level 1 (EU-level A1). The classes are taught in English at this level. You must be familiar with the Latin alphabet before you start.
You have to buy the book "På vei" textbook and workbook before the course starts. The books can be bought in Notabene, Ark Berge or Norli bookstores, or ordered on the internet. The teacher will go through chapter 1 till 8.
All lessons take place in classrooms with dedicated and qualified teachers.

Aftenskolen Rogaland is approved provider by Kompetanse Norge and also approved by Norwegian immigration authorities and valid for applying for permanent residence or Norwegian citizenship.
After finishing your Norwegian course, you will receive a course certificate if you have attended at least 75% of the classes. If you attend less than 75% we can issue a confirmation letter for the number of hours you have attended.
